Job summary

Ultipro in Texas is seeking an on-site Inspector to ensure HS&E, quality, and IT standards are followed across field operations. You will lead inspections, set up and calibrate equipment, interpret results, and deliver clear reports to customers and supervisors.

You will mentor junior inspectors, manage priorities, and drive continuous improvement projects. The role requires standing for long periods, willingness to work long hours and be on call, and maintaining timely pre- and post-job

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• Minimum of one-year experience in related field.
• Willing to work long hours and be on call 24 hours/day.
• Able to stand for long periods.
• Good driving record.
• Excellent work ethic and punctuality.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic computer skills: MS Word, Outlook, Excel & Power Point.
• Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage priorities and workflow.

Responsibilities

• Complies with Company & Regulatory HS&E & Quality and IT standards and policies; wears PPE and maintains certifications up-to-date.
• Ensures team members arrive on time with essential equipment, tools and supplies.
• Maintains inspection vehicle and equipment in orderly, calibrated condition ready for audit.
• Performs Risk Analysis before each job and addresses potential hazards.
• Executes successful jobs, sets up and calibrates equipment, interprets results per standards.
• Communicates inspection results to customers and supervisors following procedures.
• Ensures personnel are competent to complete duties.
• Completes pre- and post-job documentation and tickets on time.
• Leads and supports continuous improvement projects.
• Develops technical knowledge through on the job training and certification classes.
• Coaches and mentors inspectors and trainees.
• Handles special projects as assigned by Supervisor.
