Job summary

HPC-Industrial, powered by Clean Harbors, is seeking a Hydro Blaster/Field Technician to safely execute jobs across services lines. The role emphasizes safety, hands-on hydro-blasting, and operation of high-pressure pumps.

The ideal candidate will have vocational safety training, English proficiency, a valid driver’s license, and TWIC; willingness to work long shifts in challenging environments is required.

Qualifications

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training and on-the-job training.
• Language proficiency: understands English to comprehend safety training and respond to emergencies.
• Valid driver’s license and other requirements of driving policy when using a company or personal vehicle for business.
• Knowledge of operating emergency equipment, such as fire extinguishers.
• Provide Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC).

Responsibilities

• Act as safety representative for safety policies & procedures for company and customer.
• Hands-on operation of hydro-blasting equipment when required.
• Operate special equipment, such as ultra-high-pressure pumps.
• Operate pumping equipment and specialized hydro-blasting/chemical cleaning equipment.
• Examine surfaces cleaned to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment used on the job.
• Interfacing with customer representatives for job setup and scope; report to branch manager and ensure targets are met.
