Job summary

CHENEGA BASE & LOGISTICS SERVICES, LLC, Fort Hood, TX, seeks an HVAC Preventative Maintenance Laborer to perform the full range of maintenance and servicing of HVAC systems in support of facility sustainment services. Responsibilities include removing and replacing filters, cleaning coils and condensate components, assisting with tasks, and occasionally operating a government-furnished vehicle.

You will use common hand tools and participate in general housekeeping duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of field HVAC experience in a commercial or industrial setting.
• Possess a valid Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Remove and replace disposable filters, wash/replace reusable filters, clean fan coils, condensate pans and lines, evaporator units, and cooling towers.
• Assist others in more complex or physically demanding tasks.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks at various facilities (sweeping, debris removal, litter pickup, housekeeping).
• Occasionally operate a government-furnished vehicle.
• Use a variety of common hand tools.
• Other duties as assigned.
