Job summary

Butte Home Health Inc. is seeking a licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) to provide skilled nursing visits in patients’ homes in Chico, CA. Compensation ranges from $35.00 to $37.00 hourly, with a Full-Time/Part-Time position and road travel expectations.

The LVN will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, following patient care plans, ensuring safety, and coordinating with the clinical team to deliver high-quality home health care.

Qualifications

• Current and active California Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Minimum of one year of nursing experience preferred.
• Home health experience preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled nursing visits to home health patients as assigned within LVN scope of practice.
• Follow established plan of care and report patient changes to supervising RN or Clinical Manager.
• Perform treatments and procedures including wound care, medication support, vital signs, and disease monitoring.
• Reinforce teaching on medications, safety, infection control, disease management, and home care plan.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency standards and regulatory requirements.
