Job summary

JKL Associates Inc., a Division of PUSH Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator in Oilmont, MT to safely operate assigned equipment for installing fiber and utility cables.

The role involves digging around utilities, reading prints, and collaborating with a field team in varied outdoor environments. Ideal candidates will have field experience with utility construction equipment (backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, track hoe) and a CDL is preferred.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Experience operating utility construction equipment including backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Knowledge of reading prints and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Operate heavy equipment safely to install fiber, copper, and power cables.
• Perform routine maintenance on construction equipment.
• Assist with basic labor tasks and pedestals/conduit placement.
• Train and mentor other operators as needed.
• Drive tow vehicle with equipment to job site and around site.
• Support team with all aspects of the job.
