Job summary

Push, Inc. is seeking a Heavy Equipment Operator to safely and efficiently operate backhoes, mini excavators, cable plows and track hoes in telecom and utility projects across rural and urban sites.

This role requires field digging experience and the ability to read prints and schematics; mentorship of peers is a component of daily duties. Candidates must have a Valid Driver’s License (CDL preferred) and be willing to travel and stay away from home as needed.

Qualifications

• Field experience with digging operations around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to operate heavy construction equipment such as backhoes and excavators.
• Ability to read prints and schematics; knowledge of utility installation procedures.
• Willingness to train coworkers and work in a team environment.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety and following procedures.

Responsibilities

• Field experience with digging operations in rural and urban areas around utilities.
• Perform daily maintenance on construction equipment.
• Operate backhoe, mini excavator, cable plow, or track hoe.
• Excavate safely around existing utilities.
• Provide training to coworkers learning to operate equipment.
• Perform routine labor tasks and transport equipment as needed.
• Assist with all aspects of the job, including setup and site readiness.
