Job summary

SCS Engineers is seeking an Equipment Operator to support field-based construction and environmental control system projects. You will safely operate heavy equipment, perform inspections and preventative maintenance, and assist with installation and repair of environmental control systems in accordance with manufacturer specs and SCS safety requirements.

The role involves working with Laborers, Fusion Technicians, and project teams, tracking service records, and traveling to various project

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of equipment operation experience.
• Must pass a physical and a human performance evaluation (HPE).
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
• Desirable certifications: HAZWOPER and OSHA trainings.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain heavy equipment in field projects.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and safety training requirements.
• Assist with construction and repair of environmental control systems.
• Report equipment malfunctions to supervision.
