Job summary

Linder Industrial Machinery Company in Florida is seeking skilled Heavy Equipment Technicians to diagnose, repair, and maintain construction equipment in shop and field environments.

As an authorized Komatsu dealer, the role offers factory training, safety-focused teamwork, and opportunities for career growth across 27 locations; you’ll work with modern tools and participate in comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree in Diesel Technology or related field preferred.
• Experience with heavy equipment maintenance preferred.
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair heavy construction equipment and related components.
• Perform mechanical, hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain repairs.
• Develop repair plans and determine necessary parts, materials, and tooling.
• Complete repairs safely and efficiently while meeting quality standards.
• Prepare service reports, work orders, warranty documentation, and repair recommendations.
• Order and manage parts through company systems.
• Communicate repair status and findings with supervisors and customers.
• Maintain company vehicles, service trucks, tools, and equipment.
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
• Perform shop and field service work as assigned.

What You'll Do

• Strong mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Valid driver's license required; CDL preferred but not required

Experience working on:

• Komatsu or similar heavy equipment
• Diesel engines
• Hydraulic systems
• Electrical and electronic diagnostics
• Undercarriage, drivetrain, and powertrain systems
