Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking Health Screeners to provide field coverage, ensuring accurate health screenings including finger sticks, BMI, and blood pressure at client sites. The contractor role supports testing procedures and strict record-keeping in a professional, compliant environment.

The position emphasizes customer service, safety compliance (HIPAA/OSHA), and ongoing training. Potential conversion to W2 per diem after meeting criteria may be considered.

Qualifications

• Must have healthcare experience in a professional setting.
• Ability to follow detailed procedures and safety guidelines.
• Proficient in customer service and communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform biometric screenings at client sites including finger stick blood collection, BMI, Blood Pressure and other health screening services based on service package.
• Performs basic waived testing technical procedures on blood samples and completes required quality control.
• Provide exceptional customer service at all health screenings.
• Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records.
• Participates in training/retraining and continuing education programs as necessary.
• Complies with all designated safety policies and procedures in the work area, including PPE when necessary.
• Understands and complies with applicable laws; adheres to QA procedures and good practices.
• Maintain HIPAA and OSHA standards while on events.
• Performs other related duties as necessary.
