Job summary

Quest Diagnostics is seeking a Health Screener to provide field coverage, ensuring health screenings are completed accurately and on time. The role includes specimen collection, processing duties, and maintaining a safe environment at client sites.

This is an independent contractor (1099) position with potential conversion to a W2 per diem employee after meeting criteria. You will perform biometric screenings, basic waived tests, record keeping, and uphold HIPAA/OSHA standards while traveling to

Qualifications

At least 1 year of healthcare experience in a professional setting preferred
Must meet state licensure requirements, if applicable

Responsibilities

Perform biometric screenings at client sites including finger sticks and BMI/BP
Performs basic waived testing procedures on blood samples and completes quality control
Provide exceptional customer service at all screenings
Maintains accurate, complete, and legible records
Participates in training and continuing education programs as necessary
Complies with safety policies and PPE to prevent exposure to infectious agents
Adheres to HIPAA and OSHA standards during events
Performs other related duties as necessary
