Venture Global LNG is seeking a Health & Safety Technician for a contract role based in Cameron, Louisiana. The role will report to the HSSE Director and establish a boots-on-the-ground safety presence across field operations.

The incumbent will enforce safety policies, mentor workers, conduct inspections, and participate in incident investigations. Strong LNG/oil & gas industry knowledge and OSHA training are valued for success in this position.

Qualifications

• H.S. Education or Equivalent required; degree and/or certification preferred
• Five or more years in Health & Safety Technician role
• Experience in LNG, Petrochemical, or Oil & Gas manufacturing is a plus
• OSHA CFR 29-1910 and CFR 29-1926 training is beneficial
• Safety policies, procedures, and standards in industrial/natural gas operations

Responsabilités

• Ensure Venture Global safety policies are followed
• Serve as field HSSE contact for questions and activities
• Mentor workers on safety practices and enforce a safety-first mindset
• Stop unsafe conditions and perform daily safety inspections
• Conduct facility audits to identify hazards and recommend improvements
• Inform HSSE leadership of inspections and deficiencies
• Report accidents to Onsite Project Manager and Health & Safety Director
• Assist Emergency Response and Hurricane Response processes
• Participate in Site Safety Committee and leadership walks

Formation

H.S. Education or Equivalent

Degree in Health & Safety Sciences or related field

OSHA general industry and/or construction training

Health & Safety certifications (not required)
