Job summary

PUSH, Inc. is a premier communications and power utility contractor based in Rice Lake, WI, seeking a CDL Directional Drill Operator/Locator.

This field role requires operating HDD equipment to install underground conduits and utilities while training and mentoring teammates. The position demands experience with HDD around utilities in both rural and urban settings, ability to read prints/schematics, and willingness to travel or be away from home for extended periods.

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL and ability to pass pre-employment screenings.
• Experience with Horizontal Directional Drilling around utilities in rural and urban areas.
• Ability to read prints and schematics and mentor team members.

Responsibilities

• Operate HDD equipment for underground cable installations.
• Maintain bore profile plots and provide drilling data to customers.
• Ensure safety procedures and attend safety meetings.
• Inspect and maintain equipment; perform routine maintenance.
• Read utility locates and coordinate day lighting of facilities.
• Setup and cleanup work site, including traffic control.
