Job summary

Cherokee Fiber & Associates, a division of Hyper Networks LLC, is seeking a Telecommunications Drill Operator in Canton, GA. You will drill to place conduit, set hand-holes, and manage on-site operations while ensuring safety and compliance with company procedures.

The role requires experience with directional drilling, knowledge of safety practices, and the ability to work with various equipment. CDL preferred and OSHA/OSHA-30 training a plus; frequent local travel may be involved.

Qualifications

• 2 years’ experience locating for a directional drill
• Operate multiple drilling and support machines in field environments
• Possess clean driver’s license and CDL preferred
• Read and understand design drawings and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Drill to place conduit/piping and set hand-holes
• Oversee site safety and compliance with procedures
• Input production data into company software
• Supervise daily field operations and coordinate with crews
• Read and interpret design drawings while maintaining equipment
