Job summary

Lone Star Hazmat Response, LLC is seeking a Response Technician to support Lead Response Technician in field operations related to emergency response activities. The role involves handling chemical, fuel, and water spills, environmental and biological contamination, and decontamination tasks.

You will wear Levels A–D PPE, work in varied temperatures and conditions, assist in field sampling, and may be required to work extended hours or be on call 24/7.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent as allowed by management.
• 0-6 months industry related experience.
• Must be able to pass Hazwoper physical.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency response activities including chemical, fuel, and water spills, environmental and biological contamination, and facility or equipment decontamination.
• Wear and properly use PPE levels A–D, including respirators and protective gear.
• Work in various temperatures indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions while PPE is worn.
• Assist in field sampling activities.
• Possess ability to work extended hours (>8 hours) and be available on-call 24/7 including weekends and holidays when scheduled.
