Job summary

Tolunay-Wong Engineers, Inc. (TWE) is seeking a Field Geotechnician (Logger) in the Houston Field Services Division, based out of Houston, Texas. The role involves testing and inspecting soils, concrete, and pile monitoring, with training provided.

This is a labor-intensive position requiring physical capability and willingness to travel. Responsibilities include assisting the Driller with field activities, completing paperwork, attending safety meetings, and maintaining a clean, organized site.

Qualifications

• Able to read and write in English.
• Willing to travel and possess a dependable pickup truck.
• Pass background check and drug test.

Responsibilities

• Assist Driller with field activities: drilling, installation of wells, soil borings, sampling, groundwater investigations.
• Physically complete projects and maintain equipment and site cleanliness.
• Complete daily reports, safety paperwork, and vehicle/equipment inspections.
• Attend safety meetings and comply with safety standards.
• Maintain organized job sites and submit paperwork daily.
