Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Geology or related field.

Responsibilities

• Log drill core with lithology, alteration, structures, veining, mineralization.
• Ensure drill rigs oriented as directed by Senior Geologist.
• Decide on ending/depthening drill holes with drill crew and supervisors.
• Record geotechnical data such as RQD and rock hardness.
• Conduct geologic field mapping and sample collection.
• Verify core sampling quality and update drill database.
• Use geology software and applications for assignments.
• Assist with blast hole sampling and safety audits.
• Adhere to safety policies and perform other geological tasks.
• Conduct daily safety checks at drill sites.
