Job summary

Taylor Sudden Service provides exclusive worldwide distribution of genuine Taylor OEM parts and forklift service for Taylor Machine Works equipment. The service technician will plan travel, perform on-site repairs, and complete inspection paperwork, ensuring high-level customer satisfaction.

Responsibilities include preventative maintenance, load bank testing, and working with technicians to diagnose and repair electrical components, engines, and wiring diagrams.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with diesel and/or gas engines preferred.
• DOT certification eligibility required (must be 21+).
• Must have a valid driver’s license with good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Consults with Service Manager to plan work and travel schedules.
• Provides tools and parts and arranges on-site repair work.
• Completes inspection reports and related paperwork promptly.
• Performs preventative maintenance on generator sets and transfer switches.
• Promotes Taylor Service image with professional appearance and truck upkeep.
• On-call rotations 24/7 as required.
