Job summary

KBR is seeking an Engineering Generator Mechanic for the MCPP-Philippines program. You will install, operate, maintain, and repair electrical equipment and systems to support Marine Corps Prepositioning Program in the Philippines.

Reports to the Engineering Maintenance Supervisor and will coordinate maintenance actions with the team. Qualifications include an Associate degree or BS coursework in mechanical engineering (or equivalent), four years of generator maintenance experience, US

Qualifications

• Associate degree or coursework towards a BS degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• In lieu of a degree, relevant credits or training may be considered.
• Four years of generator maintenance experience.
• U.S. Citizenship required.
• Valid state driver’s license.
• US Passport required or ability to obtain.
• Able to obtain work visa for the Philippines.
• Able to pass FBI Background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute maintenance for MCPP-PHIL equipment.
• Repair, adjust, service, and store electrical equipment and systems.
• Support readiness, maintenance shop organization, and asset control.
• Provide requisitions for parts and supplies.
• Comply with safety regulations and policies.
• Interpret specifications, drawings, and work orders.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
