ONEOK is seeking a Field Meter Technician to support meter coverage across multiple Oklahoma sites. The role involves installing, testing, calibrating, and maintaining various meter types and related equipment while adhering to safety and regulatory standards.

You will interact with measurement personnel and contribute to reliable energy delivery. The position requires experience with gas measurement, calibration of instruments, and the ability to travel to sites.

Qualifications

• Ability to perform basic arithmetic: addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.
• Ability to apply formulas to validate volume calculations/corrections.
• Ability to communicate and/or exchange information or instruction.
• Ability to travel over uneven terrain (mud, gravel, sand, rocks, ice, snow).
• Ability to walk, stand, kneel/stoop, and drive for extended periods.
• Ability to climb and balance on ladders and work on elevated surfaces.
• Ability to respond immediately to emergency situations to prevent injury or damage.
• Ability to operate tools and equipment as required.
• Ability to read and interpret maps, plats, atlas pages, dials, gauges, reports, drawings, procedures.

Responsabilités

• Install, test, calibrate, repair, and maintain meters and related systems as specified.
• Perform measurement, sampling, compliance, and regulation tasks at facilities.
• Calibrate and maintain test instrumentation and auxiliary equipment.
• Drive and maintain company vehicle within safety guidelines.
• Prepare reports and logs per position requirements (e.g., meter/regulator work orders).
• Provide advanced troubleshooting and root cause analysis of measurement systems.
• Possibly perform DOT-covered functions in operations or emergencies.
