Job summary

Diversified Gas & Oil Corporation seeks a Compressor Technician to operate, maintain, and repair compressors and related equipment across field sites. The role emphasizes safety, preventive maintenance, and recording data in Maximo/Datasplice databases.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years mechanical experience with natural gas exposure, PLC troubleshooting, and a valid driver's license. Physical capability tests and independent work in outdoor environments are required.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
At least three years related mechanical experience, with two years in natural gas.
Intermediate computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Access.
Electrical and electronic skills with basic PLC troubleshooting and engine/compressor analysis preferred.
Valid driver license.
Ability to pass a physical capabilities test to perform essential functions.
Ability to communicate effectively and work independently.

Responsibilities

Operate, maintain and repair compressors and support equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance and major repairs of natural gas engines, motors and systems.
Record readings and maintenance data in a computerized database.
Troubleshoot and adjust dehydration, chiller and flare systems as needed.
Participate in on-call rotation and follow safety policies.
