Job summary

Hanover Iron Works, Inc. is seeking a Field Foreman to lead our crew on construction projects installing stairs, rails and miscellaneous metals. You will supervise on-site teams and ensure work is performed to contract requirements and safety standards.

Candidates should have at least 2 years in the miscellaneous metals field, plus supervisory experience, the ability to read blueprints, and knowledge of welding processes. We offer a drug-free workplace and equal opportunity employment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years experience in the miscellaneous metals field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and safety documents.
• Mathematical skills for layout and measurements.
• Knowledge of AWS D1.1 welding processes (SMAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW).
• Current welding certifications or ability to pass weld test.

Responsibilities

• Lead crew for installation of stairs, rails and miscellaneous metals.
• Coordinate daily activities with General Contractor.
• Read and layout work per blueprints.
• Instruct and organize crews, tools, materials and installation on site.
• Ensure safety and complete daily field reports and on-site documentation.
