Job summary

Tindall Corporation is a leading precast concrete manufacturer with southeastern U.S. locations. We seek a field service technician to mix and pour grout, perform rework on cracked concrete, and assist finishers on job sites.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma or GED, and prior experience finishing concrete. Training will be provided for First Aid, CPR, and lifting equipment operation as part of safety and compliance. Benefits are listed in the job posting.

Qualifications

  • Certificate, License, Registration: Will be trained in First Aid, CPR, Man lift and Scissor Lift Operation.
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience: Previous finishing of concrete is required.

Responsibilities

  • Follow safety and quality rules to ensure a safe working environment and high-quality products.
  • Receive instructions from Field Service Foreman about tasks at the job site.
  • Assist Field Finisher – Mix grout to proper consistency.
  • Assist Field Finisher – Pour grout at flat panel footing, column base, etc.
  • Assist Field Finisher – Inject grout into splice sleeves of columns and wall panels.
  • Apply grout to lifting loop blockouts on parking deck double tees and lifting device locations.
  • Perform field service rework on cracked or damaged concrete members.

Summary of Primary Functions

Mixes and pours grout at footings on job sites. Performs field service rework, including repairs of cracks, fixes to damaged members.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.
  • Receive instructions from Field Service Foreman about tasks to be performed at job site.
  • Assist Field Finisher – Mixing grout to proper consistency.
  • Assist Field Finisher - Pour grout at flat panel footing, column base, etc.
  • Assist Field Finisher - Inject grout into splice sleeves of columns, wall panel, etc.
  • Apply grout to lifting loop blockouts on parking deck double tees.
  • Apply grout to all lifting device locations on concrete members.
  • Perform field service rework to cracked and/or damaged concrete members.
Machines, Tools, and Equipment Used

Tindall truck, generator, portable mixer, grout pails, finishing tools, power tools, man lifts, scissor lifts, ga buggies, etc.

Materials Used

Grout, patching material, bonding agents, adhesives, water, etc.

Job Specifications or Qualifications
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registration: Will be trained in First Aid, CPR, Man lift and Scissor Lift Operation.
  • Education and/or Experience: High School Diploma or general education degree ( GED ) is required. Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
