Job summary

AutoZone is seeking a Maintenance Technician to provide preventative maintenance across an assigned geographic area. You will perform routine repairs on buildings, equipment, and utilities, and conduct safety inspections, with overnight travel as needed.

The ideal candidate has 1–2 years in maintenance, strong electrical/plumbing/constructive skills, and a willingness to work across multiple AutoZone store locations.

Qualifications

• Requires a high school diploma or equivalent (G.E.D.).
• Trade or technical school courses are a plus but not required.
• 1–2 years of maintenance experience or equivalent education.
• HVAC certifications are preferred but not required.
• Electrical, plumbing, and general construction skills are needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level customer service.
• Adhere to AutoZone dress code and policies.
• Perform routine store visits for building and ground repair work.
• Carry out preventive building maintenance for AutoZone stores.
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, plumbing, and equipment issues.
