Tindall Corporation, a leading precast concrete manufacturer, is seeking personnel to hook up concrete members to cranes and assist erection teams at sites in the southeastern U.S. You will ensure members are ready for setting and follow strict safety and quality rules to deliver high-quality products.

Responsibilities include operating crane hookups, directing truck movements, handling materials, and assisting with ground work and crane assembly as needed.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience in finishing concrete required.

• Hook up concrete members to crane so erection lead and rigger have members readily available for setting.
• Follow safety and quality rules to ensure a safe working environment and high quality products.
• Check fuel and lubricant levels of flat bed truck.
• Hook crane chokers to lifting loops or bolts on swivels as needed.
• Load shipping 4x4 boards off and on trailers.
• Direct truck drivers to drop-off locations.
• Unload erection materials and store properly.
• Send tools and equipment to erection crew when needed by hooking to the crane.
• Sweep foundation before panels are set.
• Mix grout in wheelbarrow and pour around set columns.
• Relocate crane by adjusting balance legs and moving platforms.
• Assist crew with ground work and assembly/disassembly of crane.

Summary of Primary Functions:

To hook up concrete members to crane so that the erection lead and rigger have members readily available for setting.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• All employees are required to follow all Safety and Quality rules and processes to ensure a safe working environment, and the production of high quality products.
• Checks fuel and lubricant levels of flat bed truck.
• Hooks up crane chokers to lifting loops or bolts on swivels depending on members.
• Loads shipping 4x4 boards off and on trailers.
• Directs truck drivers to drop-off locations.
• Unloads various erection materials off trailers and stores in proper location.
• Sends any tools and equipment up to erection crew when needed by hooking to the crane.
• Sweeps foundation before panels are set.
• Mixes grout in wheelbarrow.
• Builds grout frame boxes and pours grout around set columns.
• Helps relocate crane by raising balance legs, moving wood platforms to new location, directing crane, reposition legs until crane is level.
• Helps other crew members with ground work, helps assemble and disassemble crane.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as directed by Supervisor.

Job Specifications or Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or general education degree (GED) is required.
• Previous experience in finishing concrete is required.
