Job summary

Evergreen North America Industrial Services (ENAIS) is seeking a full-time Technician I to perform day-to-day tasks in client facilities, focusing on safety, quality, productivity and service. This safety-sensitive position requires adherence to all policies and procedures and a professional conduct in all business dealings.

The role involves operating hydro blasting, vacuum and sewer equipment, tank cleaning, and related duties across various sites with extensive travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum age of 18 years.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• First Aid and CPR trained (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Provides helper functions as directed for all services provided by the division, including hydro blasting chemical cleaning, vacuum and sewer truck operations, tank cleaning, dewatering and other work assignments.
• Loads hoses, chemicals and equipment onto truck; prepares materials designated by supervisor.
• Hooks up and breaks down hoses using proper tools, gaskets and teflon tape as directed.
• Cleans up work area and equipment after work; maintains a safe, clean workplace and customer area.
• Assists in inspecting equipment, hoses, connections, pumps, and work area; reports deficiencies to supervisor.
• Reports to work on schedule and notifies supervisor if unable to attend.
• Wears required PPE and safety equipment; promotes safety in daily work.
• Performs hazard recognition to remove hazards from the workplace.
• Complies with company and customer rules, policies, and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Develops a basic working knowledge of all equipment used.
