Capital Car‑O‑Liner is seeking an Equipment Service Technician to install, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain collision repair equipment at customer sites within your territory. You’ll keep frame measuring systems, pulling systems, welders, and related equipment running safely and efficiently while providing as a technical resource to collision repair facilities.

Qualifications

• Mechanical, electrical, automotive, or technical troubleshooting experience preferred.
• Experience with the automotive repair industry, frame machines, MIG/MAG welders, resistance spot welders, or measuring systems is a plus, but not required (training provided).
• Ability to read technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and equipment documentation.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, manage a daily service schedule, and prioritize service calls.
• Valid driver’s license and a driving record acceptable under company policy.
• Willingness to travel locally and regionally, with occasional overnight stays as needed.

Responsabilités

• Install, service, troubleshoot, and repair Car‑O‑Liner collision repair equipment, including frame measuring and straightening systems, vehicle pulling systems, welders, and related equipment.
• Perform preventative maintenance, equipment inspections, calibration, and operational testing as required.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic issues and recommend effective solutions.
• Travel to automotive collision repair shops and other customer locations throughout the assigned territory.
• Provide equipment demonstrations, basic operator training, and technical guidance to customers.
• Complete service reports, document repairs, track parts usage, and maintain accurate service records.
• Communicate professionally with customers to explain equipment issues, recommended repairs, and maintenance needs.
• Manage service tools, parts inventory, and company equipment responsibly.
• Follow all applicable safety procedures and manufacturer service guidelines.
• Represent the company professionally and maintain strong customer relationships.
