Job summary

Hart & Hickman, PC in Charlotte, NC, seeks an Environmental Technician to support field-based environmental projects and data collection.

You will conduct field investigations, collect soil, water, and air samples, assist in remediation actions, and operate environmental systems, all while maintaining accurate notes and collaborating with project managers, scientists, and crew to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or bachelor’s in Environmental Science, Geology, Biology, or related field.
• Experience in environmental consulting is a plus but not required.
• Knowledge of environmental regulations is helpful.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• Willingness to travel and conduct fieldwork.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct field investigations and environmental assessments.
• Collect soil, water, and air samples in accordance with established protocols.
• Assist in the implementation of remedial actions.
• Conduct environmental remediation system operations and maintenance.
• Collaborate with project managers, scientists, and other team members to achieve project goals.
