Job summary

H2M architects + engineers is seeking an Environmental Scientist to join our Windsor, CT team. The role focuses on soil and groundwater sampling, subsurface delineation, and environmental spill response and remediation activities.

Responsibilities include coordinating borings, installing monitoring wells, and assisting in data management and technical reporting. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree in Geology or Environmental Science, 0–5 years of related experience, ability to lift 30

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Science, or related discipline required.
• 0 to 5 years of related environmental experience required.
• Ability to lift up to 30lbs and drive to job sites with own vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Soil, groundwater, and air sampling; oversee soil borings and monitoring wells; remediation oversight; data management and report writing.
• Communicate with project team, clients, and subcontractors; coordinate with regulatory agencies.
• Develop work plans and prepare technical reports; other duties as assigned.
