Job summary

GLE Associates, Inc. in Fort Lauderdale, FL is seeking an Industrial Hygiene/Project Manager to lead asbestos inspections, bulk sampling, air monitoring, mold investigations, and lead-based paint projects. You will manage projects, prepare reports and proposals, and maintain budget control with strong client interaction.

Applicants should have a BS in a related field and 5–7 years of asbestos experience, with certifications preferred. Travel and occasional nights/weekends are required.

Qualifications

• BS in Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, Engineering, Physics or Industrial Hygiene/Safety preferred.
• 5-7 years minimum experience in asbestos sampling, assessments, planning and reporting.
• Asbestos certifications preferred (Inspector, Contractor/Supervisor and NIOSH).
• Experience with AHERA/NESHAP inspections is a plus.
• Experience with lead-based paint projects preferred.
• Excellent communications skills (verbal and written) required; strong work ethic and reliability.
• Valid driver’s license; field travel involved.
