Job summary

Ralph L. Wadsworth Construction (RLW) is seeking an experienced Environmental & Erosion Control Manager to support our heavy civil and highway projects across Colorado.

This hands-on role requires working on active sites, identifying issues with project teams and subcontractors to keep projects compliant and advancing. You will manage SWMPs, permits and environmental documentation while coordinating with regulators and site personnel.

Qualifications

• Heavy civil or highway construction experience.
• Hands-on erosion and sediment control on active sites.
• Experience conducting erosion control inspections.

Responsibilities

• Oversee environmental and erosion control compliance on active heavy civil and highway projects.
• Conduct regular erosion control inspections and site walks.
• Maintain SWMPs, notebooks, inspection records and environmental documents.
• Obtain environmental permits including construction stormwater and dewatering permits.
• Coordinate with CDOT personnel, inspectors, project managers, supervisors and regulators.
• Work with field teams to ensure erosion control measures are installed and maintained.
• Travel between RLW projects across Colorado.
