Job summary

Five Rivers Analytics (FRA), an Akima company, is seeking an Engineering Technician to support FAA and FAALC systems in Oklahoma City, OK. The role involves assembling, testing, installing, and refurbishing complex electrical, electronic, and mechanical equipment at client sites and facilities.

You will perform diagnostics, maintenance, and modifications to ensure safety, reliability, and performance, with travel up to 70% and climbing to heights.

Qualifications

• An associate degree in electrical or engineering technology and completion of formal technical training courses is required for level II.
• Physical fitness evaluation with weight restrictions of minimum 125lbs and maximum 290lbs is required.
• Practical experience in an engineering technician support position including troubleshooting, repairing, assembling, testing, and installing electrical and mechanical systems.
• NACI Clearance - ability to obtain Public Trust.

Responsibilities

• NAVAID antenna and component repair and overhaul.
• Rotary joint and drive motor troubleshooting and repair.
• Circuit board testing and repair
• Production and repair of electronic cables and wire harnesses. Performing equipment performance analyses, and information collection and reporting.
• Performing equipment adjustment, testing, and certification.
• Installation of equipment and components, and modifications.
• Installation and maintenance of NAS Radomes.
• Structural inspection of towers and tower components at heights in excess of 50 feet, but not to exceed 750 feet.
• Maintenance on the inside and outside of tower structures at heights in excess of 50 feet, but not to exceed 750 feet.
