Job summary

Parsons is seeking an Engineering Technician to support FAA TSSC-5, performing installation, testing, modification and maintenance of NAS-related electronic systems. You will follow FAA directives, work under supervision, and assist senior technicians on complex tasks across multiple FAA sites nationwide.

Responsibilities include reading schematics and wiring diagrams, performing basic measurements, and ensuring compliance with safety, security, and quality standards while documenting all

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• Must be able to meet customer security requirements; background check by federal authorities will be performed.
• Travel up to 100% within the USA.
• Five plus years of working knowledge of analog and digital electronics, RF and communications equipment.
• Use of standard electronic test equipment (DMMs, scopes, signal generators).

Responsibilities

• Install, relocate, and remove electronic systems per drawings and installation standards.
• Troubleshoot and repair systems from unit to module level and follow test procedures.
• Read schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and FAA instructions.
• Document maintenance logs, service tickets, and test results.
• Ensure safety, security, and quality practices on FAA facilities.
