Join Roche, where every voice matters.### ### The Position**The Opportunity:**Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers.* As a Field Engineering Specialist, you will travel and showcase your expertise in technical repair and installation for Roche assigned product lines.* You will offer valuable service to laboratory customers in your assigned territory.* The role involves routine technical support, on-site service, repair, and installation of Roche products.* You will serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.* The position requires diagnosing and resolving mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures.* You will document all activities, contribute to quality improvement, and focus on maximizing customer satisfaction.**Who You Are:*** High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or work experience are required.* 5 years of progressive experience in repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking is necessary. Alternatively, a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field with 1-2 years of progressive experience will suffice.* Successful completion of training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy is mandatory.* The ability to travel, including overnight travel, is a requirement for this role.**Preferred Qualifications:*** 8+ years of progressive experience or a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field plus 4+ years of progressive experience are required.* Advanced knowledge of electronics, electro-mechanical systems, information technology, and basic chemistry.* The ability to serve as an internal technical resource, provide support after hours and on weekends/holidays, and maintain strong customer relationships is essential.Relocation benefits are not available for this job posting.This is a field-based role. The territory is within the San Francisco peninsula, East Bay & South Bay areas, or within the Vacaville/Fairfield area.
