Roche is seeking a Field Engineering Specialist to perform on-site service and repair for Roche product lines in the Minneapolis area. The role requires diagnosing mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures, with travel up to 10%.

You will support laboratory customers, document activities, and contribute to quality improvements. Ideal candidates have a technical background with 5+ years of repair experience or a related bachelor’s degree with 1–2 years of progressive repair experience,

Qualifications

  • High school diploma and 2 years of technical school or equivalent military training or equivalent work experience.
  • 5 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing mechanical/system hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking, OR a Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field plus 1-2 years of progressive experience repairing or servicing complex hardware and software, or networking/wireless networking.
  • Successful training or certification as defined by RD Services Leadership and policy.

Responsibilities

  • Showcase expertise in technical repair for Roche assigned product lines and provide routine on-site service.
  • Serve as a customer contact for technical and service-related issues and perform preventative maintenance.
  • Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hardware, software, and system failures; document all activities and contribute to quality improvement.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
