Field Engineer with Landscape and Irrigation Experience
This role involves supporting highway construction projects with landscape and irrigation duties. Responsibilities include planting trees, shrubs, and cacti; installing irrigation components such as pipelines, valves, controllers and wiring; and applying ground cover materials like rock mulch and seeding. Work is primarily weekdays, with expected weekend work (Saturday, Sunday, or both).
Qualifications
- 2 to 3 years of experience on highway construction projects
- Experience planting trees, shrubs, and cacti
- Experience with irrigation points of connection, pipes, valves, controllers, wiring, and related systems
- Knowledge of ground cover installation (rock mulch, seeding)
- Preferred: civil engineering or construction management degree (not required)
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to commute to the office
- Legally authorized to work in the US
