Job summary

JLM Strategic Talent Partners is seeking a Project/Field Engineer with Highway Electrical experience for a construction-site role in the US. You will support field coordination, communicate with subs and vendors, and ensure timely completion of assignments.

Qualifications

• Experience as Project/Field Engineer on highway electrical projects.

• Familiarity with submittal/RFI/change processes and purchase orders.
• Willingness to wear PPE and conduct field coordination.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine field engineering tasks on construction sites.
• Coordinate with subs and vendors; identify and solve discrepancies.
• Support submittal, RFI, change orders, and purchase orders.
• Wear PPE and follow safety protocols during field work.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely project completion.

• The ideal candidate has a proven track record of working as a Project/Field Engineer with Highway Electrical experience at a construction site.
• They thrive in a fast paced and a team oriented environment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES/SKILLS

• Performs routine duties requiring knowledge of basic engineering principles.
• Limited exercise of judgment is required on details of work.
• Performs specific and limited portions of broader assignments.Being able to communicate with subs and vendors and being able to identify and help solve any discrepancies.
• Knowledge of Submittal/RFI/Change process/Purchase Orders.
• Willing to wear a hard hat, boots and safety glasses (PPE) for field coordination/craft communication and daily field walks.
• Willing to work collaboratively and respectfully within a team environment.
