McKee Utility Contractors is hiring for Field Engineers to support ongoing projects in Mansfield, TX, San Marcos, TX and Dallas, TX. The role involves verifying construction layout, reviewing shop drawings, and managing as-built documentation across the project lifecycle.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of field experience in water/wastewater or heavy civil construction and must be able to travel or relocate as needed, with strong communication to all project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1-3 years of field experience in water and wastewater construction or heavy civil construction.
• This role requires mobility and willingness to travel or relocate.
• Ability to clearly and effectively communicate with all Project Stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Verify construction layout to ensure accurate project execution
• Review and interpret shop drawings
• Manage as-built documentation collection throughout the project life cycle
• Verify completed work to confirm adherence to plans and specifications
• Prepare and submit daily logs and periodic progress reports
• Coordinate and oversee subcontractor activities to maintain schedule and quality standards
