Job summary

BLD SERVICES, LLC in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Construction Field Engineer with project management experience to lead infrastructure rehabilitation projects in the Mid-Atlantic region. The role requires oversight of field crews, coordination of subcontractors, and keeping projects on schedule and within budget.

The ideal candidate will have experience in water/sewer or municipal construction, a related Bachelor's degree, and willingness to travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management required.
• 1+ years of project management experience preferred.
• Experience overseeing field teams/subcontractors is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Review project plans, specifications, and permitting requirements.
• Provide field oversight for production, safety, quality, and PM standards.
• Manage subcontractors and field crews; coordinate schedules and costs.
• Track project costs, schedules, and production goals.
• Prepare project documentation: submittals, RFIs, change orders, progress reports.
• Represent the company in pre-bid and project meetings.
