Job summary
Mass. Electric Construction Co. is seeking an Entry Level Field Engineer to support MEC Industrial District operations across the country, with opportunities to travel and work on challenging projects from design through construction.
You will assist with field engineering, planning, cost control, scheduling, and coordination with suppliers, while developing the technical and safety skills required to advance in industrial construction. Travel and relocation are a natural part of this role.
Qualifications
- Undergraduate or graduate degree in construction/engineering or equivalent.
- GPA of at least 2.7.
- Proficient in MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Responsibilities
- Field engineering, operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, and material procurement.
- Review plans and specifications to determine material requirements and pricing.
- Coordinate with suppliers to facilitate material delivery.
- Maintain records of job progress and costs.
- Plan and schedule job segments.
