Job summary

SLB in Williston, ND is seeking a Field Engineer to participate in all phases of field operations, from data collection to long-term well development planning. You will organize, run, and report on field activities and collaborate with Specialists and other Engineers to support key decisions.

You will receive hands-on training, with management support and a structured development program to help you grow into a leadership role within our energy services business.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering related field.

Responsibilities

• Perform operations, operate equipment, and be accountable for team wellsite performance by the end of your training.
• Manage field operations, including engineering design, maintenance, job planning, and operational reporting
• Learn and understand SLB’s role as a service company and what value we provide to customers on location
• Support engineers and specialists on-site and help with essential duties, such as risk analysis, preventative maintenance, continuous improvement, housekeeping, etc.
• Help prepare wellsite reports and post-job debriefings
• Actively contribute to continuous improvement culture across the business

Qualifications and Experience

• Meet minimum degree/experience requirements
• o Bachelor's degree in engineering related field
• Good verbal and written communication skills
