Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Field Engineer to support structural steel erection for a construction client. You will work with erection crews, develop and track work packages, and coordinate field activities to ensure project execution.

The role requires heavy industrial construction background and 2 years of field engineering experience, with proficiency in Bluebeam Revu and Primavera P6. Per diem is provided, and schedules include long shifts and extended weeks.

Qualifications

• Heavy industrial construction background.
• 2 years of field engineering experience.
• Lifecycle involvement from planning through closeout on work packages.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage Construction Work Packages.
• Prepare and manage RFIs.
• Assist with Change Orders.
• Coordinate with customers, craft labor, and project stakeholders.
• Present findings with data-backed recommendations.
• Track earned value progress and apply Rules of Credit.
