Job summary

DPR Construction is seeking a Self-Perform Work (SPW) field engineer to support multi-disciplinary project teams on field operations. You will help ensure SPW activities meet project objectives, safety standards, and quality requirements, coordinating with crews and project leaders to resolve technical issues and maintain smooth workflow.

Qualifications include an Associate or Bachelor degree in construction management or engineering and 2–4 years SPW experience.

Qualifications

  • Associate degree or higher in construction-related field.
  • 2–4 years SPW field engineering experience.
  • OSHA 30-hour Construction (preferred).
  • OSHA 30-Hour Completion within 6 months of hire is required.
  • ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assists with technical planning and execution of SPW activities, ensuring tasks comply with project specifications, safety protocols, and quality standards.
  • Coordinates with SPW crews and project teams to help resolve general technical issues and support steady workflow and timely project delivery.
  • Assists with collecting and organizing technical documents related to SPW activities, including crew timesheets, daily production reports, and material usage logs, to help ensure project information is accurate and current.
  • Identifies SPW productivity and quality issues, and assists crew supervision in finding solutions and correcting issues.
  • Communicates SPW-related field updates to project leaders and crew members to ensure everyone is informed about changes, progress, or issues affecting SPW activities.

Job Summary

Participates in the coordination and execution of a Self-Perform Work (SPW) scope field operations activities, ensuring technical solutions meet project objectives and quality standards. Works with multidisciplinary teams, including SPW crews and project teams, to help resolve field challenges specific to SPW activities and improve field operations. Contributes to SPW project outcomes by helping resolve field related questions and issues.

Education Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
Work Experience

2 - 4 years of experience in SPW field engineering, construction management, or a related field required.

Certifications and Licenses
  • OSHA 30‑Hour Construction preferred.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Program Completion within 6 months of hire is required.
  • ASHE, CHC, or relevant market certification preferred.
