Job summary

SOLV Energy is seeking an EPC Project Engineer for on-site work on solar, storage, and substation projects. The role supports the jobsite team and coordinates project deliverables to meet profitability and schedule goals. Location is Plymouth, NC with details discussed during interview.

The position requires safety focus, basic electrical/mechanical knowledge, and willingness to travel. Excellent teamwork in a fast-paced environment is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Mechanical/electrical experience preferred.
• Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Knowledge of Lock Out/Tag Out procedures.
• Basic solar installation knowledge.
• NFPA 70e safety training certification required.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.
• Willingness to travel up to 10%.
• Ability to work on-call as needed.
• Strong English communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Safety is the primary concern and practiced on site.
• Coordinate and manage solar equipment service at multiple plants.
• Operate company equipment, perform maintenance tasks.
• Prepare accurate documentation and reports of work performed.
• Respond to on-call emergencies as directed by supervisor.
• Collaborate with EPC management on improvements.
