Job summary

American Cementing LLC is seeking a Field Engineer I-III to provide technical and engineering support for cementing operations. You will collaborate with internal teams and customers, perform field inspections, analyze requirements, and deliver technical solutions for each job.

Responsibilities include preparing job recommendations, modeling, and working with customer engineering teams to tailor well conditions and designs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the oilfield services or energy industry (cementing experience preferred).
  • Field experience in cementing operations, including job design and execution.
  • Laboratory and/or sales experience is a plus.

Position Summary

The Field Engineer is responsible for providing technical and engineering support to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of cementing operations. Qualifications

Education & Experience


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required).

  • Chemical, Mechanical, Civil & Petroleum Engineering are preferred

  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the oilfield services or energy industry (cementing experience preferred).

  • Field experience in cementing operations, including job design and execution.

  • Laboratory and/or sales experience is a plus.

Work Environment & Physical Demands


  • Regular exposure to moving machinery, outdoor weather conditions, diesel fumes, chemicals, dust, and moderate to loud noise levels, depending on work location.

  • Must be able to frequently lift, lower, carry, and move materials, tools, and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.

  • Requires frequent walking, standing, bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, crouching, and working at ground level for extended periods.

  • Must be able to climb and descend ladders, steps, platforms, and equipment while maintaining balance and stability.

  • Requires sufficient manual dexterity and fine motor coordination to operate tools, manipulate small parts, assemble and disassemble components, and perform maintenance or operational tasks.

  • Requires the physical stamina to perform repetitive physical activities throughout the workday while wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE), including respirators and other required safety equipment, as applicable.

  • Requires visual acuity to inspect equipment, read gauges, identify defects, and safely perform assigned job duties.

  • Must be able to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and other personnel in shop, office, and field environments, as applicable.
