Job summary

Liberty Personnel Services, Inc. seeks a Technical Field Engineer to support leak detection system deployments across client sites. You will assist sales with system design, perform startup and commissioning, and troubleshoot field equipment during installations.

Expect regular site visits and hands-on training for customers and teams. Ideal candidates have field experience across mechanical, electrical, and controls disciplines, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to read blueprints

Qualifications

• Field experience in mechanical, electrical, controls, HVAC, plumbing, or related technical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills in field environments.
• Ability to read blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with low‑voltage systems, networking, and communication protocols preferred.
• Comfortable working independently and managing multiple site visits.

Responsibilities

• Support technical sales efforts with system design and application support.
• Perform startup, commissioning, testing, and service activities for installed systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment, controls, wiring, and communication‑related issues.
• Provide technical assistance to customers, contractors, consultants, and internal teams.
• Conduct site visits and recommend improvements or corrective actions as needed.
• Deliver training on system installation, operation, and best practices.
