Job summary

Terracon is seeking an entry-level engineer to provide engineering and consulting services across a range of projects. You will perform field investigations, calculations, and prepare plans, specifications, and reports for diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required.
• 1–3 years of experience preferred; master’s degree is a plus.
• Strong analytical and communication skills; ability to translate complex problems for clients.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety rules and participate in pre-task planning.
• Manage and execute small projects of minimal complexity.
• Assist in scope of work development for routine projects.
• Assist in cost estimates, specifications, and other document preparation.
• Analyze data and perform engineering calculations for PE review.
• Coordinate or supervise field investigations and laboratory data evaluation.
• Develop project plans, schedules, and detailed phases of work.
• Communicate project progress with the client and project team.
• Work under supervision of a Professional Engineer and Terracon reviewers.
