FlatironDragados is offering an Intern Program Summer 2027 in Washington for Civil Engineering and Construction Management students. You will work on-site with project staff, supporting field engineering tasks, QA/QC activities, survey work, and documentation control to ensure conformance with plans and schedules.

This internship emphasizes practical application of academic training, collaboration with PMs and engineers, and exposure to temporary structure design through CAD tools.

Qualifikationen

• Enrolled in an accredited Civil Engineering or Construction Management program.
• Currently pursuing a relevant degree.
• Willingness to work on-site in Washington and collaborate with field staff.

Aufgaben

• Assist with evaluation of field conditions and acceptance testing.
• Support quality assurance and quality control engineering materials testing.
• Apply survey knowledge to assist with project layout and checking of work to confirm conformance with plans and specifications.
• Review project drawings and coordinate design changes.
• Provide document control assistance for correspondence, submittals, design releases etc.
• Initiate engineering design clarifications.
• Perform quantity tracking and productivity analysis for maximization of operation efficiency.
• Assist with preparing and updating project schedule and interact with scheduling decision processes.
• Respond to field for design clarification, and manage subcontractors field operations and verify contract payments.
• Provide design assistance to the project engineer for the design of temporary structures using computer aided design tools.
