Job summary

Mass Electric Construction Co. offers an internship in construction management within the Field Operations department. You will develop and participate in key roles such as field engineering, scheduling, cost control, and procurement, learning with a hands‑on approach.

The program emphasizes safety, ethics, and a strong work ethic while providing opportunities for travel and professional growth. Location is Irvine, CA with relocation as needed.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in civil engineering, construction management or related.
• Ability to travel or relocate as needed.
• Ability to work full‑time during the summer (approximately May–August).
• Strong work ethic and commitment to safety, ethics and integrity.

Responsibilities

• Field engineering, operation planning, cost control, project scheduling, quantity tracking and material procurement.
• Reviewing plans to determine material requirements and pricing.
• Coordinating with suppliers to facilitate delivery of materials.
• Performing engineering tasks using standard techniques and solving minor technical problems.
