Job summary

American Civil Constructors West Coast in Benicia, CA is seeking Field Engineers to support heavy civil construction projects nationwide. The role includes project scheduling, submittals, RFIs, quantity takeoffs, traffic control plans, progress billings, procurement tracking and project documentation.

You will work closely with Project Managers, subcontractors and public agency representatives to coordinate activities, monitor production and costs, and help deliver complex infrastructure safely,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in civil/structural/construction management or related field
• 1–3 years of construction-related experience
• Ability to read and interpret project plans and specifications
• Strong Excel proficiency and MS Office literacy
• Valid driver's license and authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Primavera P6 experience is highly desired

Responsibilities

• Production scheduling
• Handling project submittals & RFIs
• Tracking production, inventory, subcontracts and purchase orders
• Coordinating and supervising varying work schedules (day/night)
• Drafting value engineering change proposals
• Submitting daily reports and progress billings
• Preparing quantity take-offs and traffic control plans
• Preparing project schedule updates
• Collaborating with Project Managers, Subcontractors, Suppliers and DOT/Public Works representatives
