Job summary

Power Design, Inc. is seeking a Field Engineer to work on our local projects under supervision of a Superintendent and project team. Gain firsthand experience with electrical installation scopes and contribute to project deliverables, schedules, and safety performance on site.

The role emphasizes collaboration with senior team members, suppliers, and contractors, with training and access to cutting-edge technology to support project execution on a fast-growing nationwide construction portfolio.

Qualifications

• College graduate with a construction-related degree or 4+ years of relevant work experience.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Gaining firsthand experience of electrical installation scopes on projects including decks, rough, trim and distribution.
• Support project deliverables throughout all phases to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Promote safety on site by recognizing hazards and ensuring corrections.
• Coordinate schedules, manage the labor forecast, inventory, and project correspondence.
• Interact with customers and other trades while representing Power Design in the field.
• Leverage training in our facility to assist on assigned projects with cutting-edge technology.
